Betty Baker, age 87, of Floydada, passed away peacefully at her home in Floydada, Sunday, September 4, 2016. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the City Park Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.

Betty was born January 21, 1929 to E.J. Stephens and Eula Payne in Drumwright, OK. She was the middle child of eleven. On May 23, 1947 Betty married Sam Baker and after moving to Floydada, they became lifelong residents. For all the years Betty lived in Floydada she was a member of the City Park Church of Christ. Betty was a member of the Red Hat society for many years, as well as, various study clubs. Betty served on the Senior Citizens board of directors. She loved oil paintings and her house were full of them. Betty loved life and making others laugh. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by all her siblings and parents.

Betty is survived by two children; Donna Baker Brand (Larry) and Chuck Baker (Dana). She has two grandsons; David Brand and Garrett Baker and two granddaughters; Sabrina Baker Moore (Robert) and Lexie Baker.
