Irma (Garcia) Saucedo, 83, of Lockney, passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on August 15, 2016. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 19, at San José Catholic Church in Lockney with Father Jim McCartney officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Lockney Cemetery. Viewings will be 1:00–8:00 p.m., Wednesday, 17 August at Moore-Rose Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, 18 August at San José Catholic Church immediately followed with prayers and recital of the Rosary from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.

Irma was born on August 21, 1932 in Old Gulf, Texas to Agapito and Baudelia Garcia. Irma married Frank (Pancho) Saucedo on September 15, 1949 and raised five children in Lockney.

She was preceded in death by Frank, in June 1990, her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Irma is survived by her children, Frank, Jr. (Rosa) Saucedo, Javier (Cookie) Saucedo, Joel (Dolores) Saucedo, Roy (Annette) Saucedo, and Melissa (Mario) Arellano; two brothers, ten grand-children and twelve great grand-children. Irma will be missed by many other relatives and friends.
