Nancy Myrick passed away peacefully at her home on May 31, 2016 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Nancy was born June 2, 1945, to Jim and Opal Campbell at Stamford, Texas.
Nancy married Dwayne Myrick on May 9, 1964 in Floydada and they had remained married for 52 years. After moving to Grand Prairie, she went to work for GPISD where she worked for 27 years, and then retired.
Nancy enjoyed being a part of all of her grandchildren's activities, and never liked to miss anything that they were part of. She also enjoyed going to Lake Fork, and fishing from sun up to sundown. Her greatest claim to fame at the lake was catching a 10 ½ lb bass. She loved her second home at the lake and all of her many friends that she had made there. She was a loving grandmother to her 3 grandchildren; Andrew and Olivia Arias and Lauren Armstrong.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband; Dwayne Myrick of Grand Prairie, two daughters; Angela Arias and husband Dr. Juan Arias of Desoto, TX, Dwayla Armstrong of Grand Prairie, TX, one sister; Laura Turner and husband Tracy of Floydada.
A Memorial service will be held at a later time.
She will be missed greatly by her family and her friends.
