Robert Espinoza, age 52, of Lubbock, passed away January 11, 2017. Prayer service will be 1:00 p.m., January 17, 2016 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home A rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Idalou. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Idalou.

Robert was born on July 8, 1964 to Juan Rodriguez and Maria (Gomez) Espinoza in Lubbock. Robert loved and enjoyed listening to music, especially Roman Ayala and los Invasores De Nuevo Leon. He knew how to play accordion but was just a little rusty. Playing pool and fishing was his favorite hobby. As a kid, all he would watch was wrestling and even till this day he still enjoyed watching it. Robert was a very good cook and baker. He was always rooting for his team, the Dallas Cowboys as any huge fan would. He was always a positive person, no matter what the situation was. Robert had a big heart and would help anybody that needed it. You would never see him without a smile. No matter what he was doing he always had a smile on his face as it would light up any room. Robert will be missed by all his close family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father; Juan Rodriguez Espinoza and nephew; John Espinoza, III.

He is survived by his children; Robert M. Espinoza, Jr and Sophia Saenz both of Lubbock, 6 grandchildren, three brothers; Juan Espinoza, Jr, Ricky Espinoza both of Lubbock, Abel Espinoza of Dayton, OH, four sister; Graciela Espinoza of Lubbock, Joann Wakefield of Detroit, MI, Carol Shifflett of Springfield, MO, Irma Randolph of Findlay, Oh and he will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews
