Tommy Davis age 77 of Lockney, Texas passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on August 26, 2016 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Alice Catholic Church in Plainview, Texas. The service will be followed by a burial the Lockney Cemetery in Lockney, Texas. There will be a Rosary Service held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at St. Alice Catholic Church in Plainview, Texas at 6:00 pm. Visitation will be Saturday August 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM and Sunday August 28, 2016, at 1:00 PM at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney, Texas. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.
Tommy was born on October 6, 1938 in Parmer, Texas. He met and married the love of his life Freda Smith Davis on June 18, 1963 who passed away in 2008. He worked as the Parts Manager at Tye Company for over 20 years.

Tommy is survived by his four children, Larry (Tamberly) Davis, Judy (Lee) Miller, Kathy Davis and Coy (Brenda) Davis. His grandchildren Kelsey Davis, Amanda & Jordan Miler, Nicholas and Mia Davis and great-grandchild Everlee Jacobs. Brother Raymond (Linda) Davis of Hereford, and Sisters Libby Hernandez of Lockney, June Barham and Laura (Phillip) Deluna of Plainview,Nancy (Timothy) Hayes and of Wimberly, Frances (Alan) Carlson of Lubbock. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Hubert and Izell Davis, and brothers Mac Davis and James Davis. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be sent to the Hunter Schwertner Scholarship Fund in care of St. Alice Catholic Church, Plainview, Texas 79072.
