On September 1, 2016, the angels ferried home Wanda Harston to be with her Lord and Savior. Waiting to welcome her was her husband Hurshel Harston. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 5, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church with Ricky Carstensen officiating. Interment will follow at the Lockney Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney.

Wanda was born on July 22, 1933 and married Hurshel "Red" Harston on July 31, 1950. Wanda and Hurshel owned and operated Armstrong & McCall Beauty Supply and the RDA Beauty Supply for many years before retirement.

They had two children together, Darlene Caylor and husband Mike and Bob Harston, Wanda had 3 grandchildren, Craig Caylor, Danielle Harston, T.J. Harsten and also had 7 great grandchildren, Kaylee, Brenna, Abby, Michael, Patrick, Isaac, Mariano. We all rejoice in her life and are saddened by her passing.

Memorials may be made in Wanda's memory to the First United Methodist Church in Lockney or the City Church in Amarillo, Texas.
